John Wayne, christened Marion Robert Morrison on 26th of May 1907, was an Hollywood actor, producer along with director. He is a timeless Hollywood legend, an Academy Award champion and the major box office draw in the past. known for his gait, voice, height and manner, he was the exact appearance of manliness.

He was born in Winterset, Iowa, commenced acting at movie studios in LA, CA when losing a sports scholarship owing to a bodysurfing mishap. He started off with small characters in the Fox Film corporation. His first opportunity that got him direct recognition was the motion picture Stagecoach in 1939. He headlined in 142 productions, many of them Westerns.
