Rolling Stones Tribute Band

Rolling Stones Tribute Band
These days there are very few groups that don’t have a tribute act dedicated to them.
This is probably because the acts themselves don’t play live frequently, and when they do, they tend to play large venues and they charge high ticket prices. Needless to say, the promoter will argue that this is simply supply and demand - in other words there more people who wish to see the group than there are places available at the venues.
No surprise then, that tribute acts are so well-liked. If you can’t see the genuine thing due to price, or because they aren’t touring then the next smartest choice would be to see one of their tribute acts. The Rolling Stones have many top quality tribute acts including the Counterfeit Stones and Stikkyfingers in the UK, and Satisfaction and also the Glimmer Twins in the US.
Each of these bands gives a flavor of the Rolling Stones and they will not disappoint. They play the music of the Rolling Stones very well, and often they look like the Rolling Stones as well, which adds to the fun. The Rolling Stones have such a huge back catalogue that the tribute acts are spoilt for choice when creating their set lists, and frequently they add a touch of theatre to the songs (as the Stones do) when they play them live.
Of course, it’s all great fun and the audience love the spectacle, but most of all they love the music.
What’s the best thing for your celebration or event if you’re a Rolling Stones enthusiast? The Stones would want somewhere in the region of £2m to play for you, whereas a tribute band will be significantly less. It’s simple economics really - not many people have millions of pounds lying around in their bank accounts. The tribute band can play the songs very well and get very close to the Rolling Stones show - but of course they aren’t the Stones.
Live music is the best kind of music - go see a band today!
